To create your success road map 90 day action plan, think about what you want to accomplish in the next 90 days. What are your goals? What are your top 5 outcomes? What new skills will you learn? What existing skills will you improve? How much will you make? What are 3 reasons you will succeed?
When you create a success road map 90 day plan, start with the end in mind and focus on outcomes instead of to do items. Next, take the outcomes and break them down into specific actions.
You can create your 90 day action plan by following these success roadmap steps:
Step 1: Determine your top 5 outcomes for the next 90 days.
Step 2: Determine the tactical actions you need to take to accomplish your top 5 outcomes.
Step 3: Now take your top 5 outcomes and break them down into 3 30-day outcomes.
Step 4: Determine the tactical actions you need to take to accomplish each 30 day outcome.
Step 5: Determine weekly outcomes for the next 30 days.
Step 6. Determine tactical actions you need to take to accomplish each weekly outcome for the next 30 days.
Step 7: Determine daily outcomes for the next 7 days.
Step 8: Determine tactical actions you need to take to accomplish each outcome for the next 7 days.
Every 7 days repeat steps 7 – 8.
Every 30 days repeat step 5 – 8.
Every 90 days repeat steps 1-8.
It is important to note this success roadmap action plan is not cast in stone. Think of it as a living document that gets modified at various intervals.
Notice that in steps 5 and 6 only outcomes and tactical actions for the next 30 days are determined, not for each of the next 3 30-day periods. This allows for flexibility and adjustments to be made during the 90 day period based on results and observations from the previous time period.
